As we wind into Christmas, we lament the year that was.

It has certainly been a year of change and a roller coaster of returns. Last year we experienced a Christmas rally and while not discounting it, I would be surprised if this occurred again – but I have been surprised before.

Given the time of the year Christmas offers that rare opportunity to spend time with family and friends. For us it is one of those rare times where we can shut the office and not think about work.

This year we will close the office on Friday 19th December 2025 and re-opening on Monday 12th January 2026.
